It’s never too late to start!
Howdy! I’m thrilled to share a bit about myself and my journey with you. I am a Midwestern — born and raised in the Chicagoland area — who has found a love for traveling near and far. My career journey has taken me from classrooms to corporations, with each chapter teaching me valuable lessons. As a leader, I focus on coaching and mentoring my team to empower them to do their best work.
In my personal life, I have experience reacting to and initiating change. I came out as queer and non-binary in my mid-thirties. Many of my passions were only discovered in recent years — running, ice climbing, mountaineering — where I push myself to new distances/heights in order to better understand my capabilities. I feel it is never too late to discover new parts of yourself, and the most important thing you can do in your life is live with authenticity and passion.
As a Co-Active Coach, we will take active roles in helping you grow in whatever facet you’d like help on. I am your supporter, sounding board, and collaborator. Whether you are looking for coaching on leadership, career goals, personal changes, or more, we can work together to guide you down the path you choose!
My life goal is to be of service to others — to make a positive impact on people’s lives. Working together, I believe we can initiate positive change for you!

Out on the trail
Twenty-one races finished so far, five of them a hundred miles or longer. Every one of them taught me something I use in coaching.
- Leadville Trail 100 28:16:10
- Kettle Moraine 100 27:22:33
- Across the Years 59:48:41
- Badger Trail Races 30:49:18
- Six Days in the Dome 100.02 mi
Plus the Javelina Jundred at 100K, Run the Rut twice, a couple of road marathons, and a stair climb in Bisbee that hurt more than it had any right to.
What I’m building
When something I wanted didn’t exist for a community I’m part of, I made it. Medaling with Friends is a social race schedule built around making start lines welcoming — to queer, trans and non-binary athletes, to women, to BIPOC runners, to adaptive athletes. IceCycles models ice formation for climbers. And on Hard Days I interview outdoor athletes about their hardest days.
Same idea behind both as behind the coaching: people do better when they’re part of something that makes room for who they actually are.
